Congress followed up that move by passing the rice tariffication bill, which now only needs President Rodrigo Dutere’s signature to take effect. The rice tariffication bill must be signed and implemented as quickly as possible. And of course, the BSP should remain as alert as it says it is to conditions requiring further policy moves. So far, the various parts of the government seem to have gotten all together on the right track.
