Easter Horse Races today View(s):The Easter Sunday Horse Racing Bonanza will take place at the Racecourse in Nuwara Eliya today. A total of 39 thoroughbred horses are expected to run during the day, where the biggest race would be the Class 4 run, which includes a total of 12 horses. The Class 1 will have the second highest number of runners — 11 for the first time ever with the main reason being the combination of Class 2 and Class1 horses in a single run. Following today horse races will continue during the April Holiday Season with the SriLankan Airlines Magic Million on April 15, followed by the season closure on April 28.
