Between October and December 2021, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) found 19 sites to be non-compliant in terms of providing quality, transportation and storage of fuel in the country. The Authority conducted a total of 5,242 tests at 1,100 Petroleum sites. From the tests, 98.27% of the sites were found to be compliant. The 19 filling stations were found to have been selling either an adulterated fuel or fuel meant for export. Two among them were selling fuel containing high Sulphur.
