A Baraton University Accounting and Finance lecturer has gone to court to challenge his redeployment to the university farm. The university board, chaired by Vice-chancellor Philip Maiyo, had recommended a summary dismissal of Jeff Katieno to the university council. However, in his court papers, Katieno maintains that he taught all his courses except for the first lesson of the semester. When the matter reached the university council, the council did not approve the board's recommendation. It's on this basis that the board redeployed Katieno to the university farm as farm manager.
