TACLOBAN, Leyte: Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) Regional Office has called on private establishments and workers in Eastern Visayas affected by the pandemic to apply for the department’s Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2). Assistant Regional Director Amable Ildefonso Roa said the approval of the CAMP, a safety net program that provides one-time financial support of P5,000 to workers affected by coronavirus, will again be implemented. Roa, in a press statement, bared that based on DoLe Order 218 series of 2020, priority will be given to those displaced workers of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that applied for CAMP on or before 15 April but did not receive any financial assistance under Bayanihan 1. He likewise clarified that those who have already applied for CAMP in the first implementation but did not receive the assistance will need to apply again with the new online system developed by DoLE Central Office. He added that submission of applications for CAMP is online at https:/reports.dole.gov.ph.
