more-inDeputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam on Wednesday said the Dharma Yudham he began a year ago (against Sasikala and her family) was a victory. At Theni, he told reporters that the objective (of removing Sasikala family from the party) of his dharma yudham has been achieved. When the party founder MGR floated the AIADMK, he wanted it to be the party of the cadres. He told reporters in Chennai that the statement that one of the disqualified MLAs should become CM and six cabinet Ministers should resign was nothing but “vain talk”. He insisted that there was no threat to the AIADMK government led by Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and the “united” opposition’s efforts to unseat the government would not succeed.
