Devapathiraja girls emerge champs Under-19 Girls' Cricket Final View(s): View(s):Devapathiraja MV Rathgama emerged champions of the Under-19 Girl’s Cricket Tournament for the third successive year with a convincing 85-run win over Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda in the final played at the Lycuem International School ground in Wattala yesterday. A knock of 65 by Sathya Sandeepani laid the foundation as Devapathiraja, taking first lease of the wicket, made a challenging score of 189 in their allotted 30 overs. Anula Vidyalaya in their turn were made to toil for their runs and with no useful contributions coming from the batters saw them skittle out for a meagre score of 104.
