NewsThe Parliamentary debate into the Bond Commission report and the report of the Presidential Committee on Fraud and Corruption (PRECIFAC) would be held on February 6. Earlier today, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya convened a Party Leaders' meeting to decide on holding a debate on the two reports. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe had earlier proposed that Parliament be convened on February 8 to debate the reports. Accordingly, after further consultations with party leaders and the PM, it was decided to hold the debate on February 6. The debate is set to begin at 10.30am.
