NewsThe 24-hour island-wide token strike launched by the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) was called off this afternoon following discussions between the union and Health Ministry officials. The GMOA stated that the union decided to call off the strike after Health Ministry officials assured that their issues would be resolved. The strike was launched at 8.00am today over several demands including rectifying salary anomalies.
