Six days after communal clashes, life in Kasganj returned to normal as markets reopened amid tight security and people returned to their jobs on Thursday. Communal clashes broke out in Kasganj on Republic Day following a skirmish during Tiranga Yatra in Baddu Nagar. So far, police registered eight FIRs and arrested 123 people in cases related to the communal clashes. Rumours of Muslim exodus were also reported from Kasganj in wake of tension.
