A 17-year-old boy allegedly mowed down a man at a traffic junction in northwest Delhi’s Prashant Vihar on Tuesday while driving his father’s car, police said. According to DCP (Rohini) Rajneesh Gupta, the accident happened when the boy took his father’s Hyundai i20 car and set out for a friend’s home on Tuesday morning. “Passersby caught the boy and used his car to move the injured man to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini. Minors driving vehicles has been a menace in Delhi that has led to many accidents over the last few years. In April 2016, a 32-year-old marketing executive was mowed down allegedly by a 17-year-old boy driving his father’s Mercedes in north Delhi’s Civil Lines.
