Davao Chamber issues guidelines – The Manila Times

The Davao Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCII) has advised business owners in Davao City to follow the strict protocols of the city government to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. DCCII, led by John Carlo Tria, had issued its first advisory on the virus on March 15, a copy of which has been obtained by the Manila Times. The called on local firms to limit the number of staff in the office, allow work from home, and switch to online meetings for safer discussions and to avoid human-to-human contact. To continue selling products via online, local firms could tap the accredited shipping and delivery companies through the Department of Information and Communications Technology-Private Express and/or Messengerial Delivery Service. The DCCII urged local firms to keep abreast with news advisories from the city government through its media outlets Disaster Radio 87.5 FM, Facebook account @davaocitygov and the organization’s own FB account Davao Chamber.
