"It brings a good vibe [to the cafe], gets everyone into the spirit of the season, and it really gets the kids excited." Kelly Coley, of Jameson's Upholstery, posted a challenge to every business in town on the Dannevirke Community Facebook page to give at least one client a surprise Christmas gift. Then when he went to pick up the ragged backpack, Coley handed over the new pack, wrapped in Christmas paper, instead. "It was really nice of them, that really was the Christmas spirit."
