LUCENA CITY – A local “Mayohan” (Maytime) dance party in Real town in Quezon province turned bloody after a dancer was shot and killed early Friday. The victim, Novy Buni, while dancing with his partner Nelia Bandias, was shot at close range five times by one Allan Regador using a caliber .45 gun in Barangay (village) Ungos around 12:10 a.m., Real police chief Insp. The suspect quickly fled after the shooting. Quoting investigators, Papagayo said the suspect was “overly envious” on the social status of his victim. A police team has been dispatched to hunt down and arrest the suspect, according to Papagayo.
