Speaking to media after the meet, Kejriwal announced the number of daily Covid-19 tests would be increased to over 1 lakh. The Centre would provide 750 intensive care unit (ICU) beds at the Defence Research and Development (DRDO) Covid-19 hospital, Kejriwal further said. The number of Covid tests to be conducted daily to be increased to over 1 lakh,” Kejriwal announced. He had chaired a series of meetings in June and July when the city witnessed a major spike in its Covid-19 cases.
