BEIJING: With terrorism a growing threat in the region, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s presence at the 86th Interpol General Assembly, here, reflects Malaysia’s commitment to combating militancy and other international crime. The deputy prime minister and home minister arrives here tomorrow on a three-day working trip which also includes the general assembly. “Both sides will exchange bilateral security cooperation, including counter-terrorism initiatives though the establishment of the Counter-Messaging Centre in Malaysia,” the statement said.
