PHNOM PENH: Cambodia's tourism earned a gross revenue of US$3.87 billion in 2025, up 6.6 per cent from US$3.63 billion a year earlier, said a Ministry of Tourism's official report on Wednesday (March 18). The tourism industry has created 420,000 direct jobs, the report added. Tourism is one of the four pillars supporting Cambodia's economy in addition to garment, footwear and travel goods export, agriculture, and construction and real estate. Tourism Minister Huot Hak said recently that Cambodia is a safe and warm tourist destination. Besides, it has a pristine coastline stretching for about 450 km in the four Southwestern provinces of Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Kep, and Koh Kong.
