DOH Undersecretary Rolando Enrique Domingo said they will be working closely with the Department of Agriculture to develop a framework that will regulate the use of antibiotics on animals. “What we want is increased regulation of antibiotics for animals. The World Health Organization (WHO) noted that the overuse and misuse of antibiotics on animals may also contribute to the increasing threat of AMR.
