Share TweetBy Jhon Aldrin CasinasThe Department of Education (DepEd) expressed on Saturday (November 24) their condolences to the family and friends of business tycoon and banker George S. K. Ty who passed away at the age of 86 on Friday. Ty was the founder of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) and Metrobank Foundation. He was also the group chairman of Metrobank Group which is composed of 18 companies and 32 firms with international affiliates. Ty’s memorial service will start on Sunday (November 25) at the Heritage Park in Taguig City.
