It comes a day after DMCI and its Japanese partner Tarsei Corp. were awarded the contract to build that first phase. Revenues from the project is expected to be recognized in the next 36 months, according to Consunji. Besides the railway project, DMCI and Taisei were also looking out for other Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)-funded infrastructure projects, particularly the southern extension of the NSCR. Shares of DMCI rose by 18 centavos or 1.73 percent to close at P10.60 each on Tuesday.
