A cylinder explosion in a wedding house in Sector G-7-2, Islamabad, killed 8 people, including the bride and groom. On the instructions of DC Islamabad, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Sahibzada Yousaf reached the spot. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Sahibzada Yousaf said that the cylinder explosion took place in a wedding house while guests were also present in the house, the bride and groom are among the deceased. The other 11 injured people were immediately shifted to the hospital due to the explosion. PIMS sources say that the house of the affected family was destroyed in the blast, so the bodies are not being moved.
