In Hunza, the mercury dropped to a freezing minus 21 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest area in the country. According to an international weather website, the minimum temperature in Hunza was recorded at -20°C, while Quetta saw a low of -1°C early Sunday morning. Other major cities also experienced chilly conditions, with temperatures recorded at 2°C in Islamabad, 3°C in Lahore, 4°C in Peshawar, and 7°C in Karachi. Temperatures plunged to -21°C in Hunza, -19°C in Astore, -11°C in Chilas, and -8°C in Kalat. Meanwhile, dense fog and freezing cold continued to disturb life in Punjab, with closure of motorways.
