Currently, the civic body is removing encroachment from both sides of the pipeline. He added that according to the available information, the jogging and cycling track may be the biggest track in the country. The 39-km long Tansa water pipeline is in two parts—first from Mulund to Dharavi and the second from Ghatkopar to Sion. At present, the civic administration has been removing encroachment 10 metre both side of the pipeline following Bombay High Court order. However, in order to provide a facility to resident along the area, the jogging and cycling track has been proposed.
