The total number of applications received by the university was 8,95,796. Specialised BCom courses like BCom in Accounts and Finance, Banking and insurance and Finance Management also saw a large number of takers. The University extended the deadline of the pre-admission registration till June 21 for admissions to various undergraduate courses at its 800 plus affiliated colleges. A total of 74,417 students registered for the three year BSc course. 58,383 students registered for the three year BA programme until Friday.
