Most Nairobians sampled in a recent poll say night curfew, stay-at-home and social distancing in matatus are ineffective coronavirus containment measures. The TIFA poll results released on Monday show that only seven per cent of the 555 respondents believe the curfew is helpful in managing the pandemic. Those health protocols had three, two and two per cent support respectively. A total of 429 of those polled had taken part in a similar TIFA survey in June. Only four in 10 slum dwellers claimed the police used force to enforce curfew and other restrictions in their locality.
