A group of activist have called for the construction of a perimeter wall to reduce the frequent fires at Musingu Boys High School in Kakamega county. Owen Musoma, a local youth representative said fire had destroyed school property worth millions of shillings. “It is not good to see a dormitory put up using public funds destroyed by a fire whose cause cannot be established. The duo said investigations into the recent and past fire incidents at the school should be made public. Last year in November, property of unknown value was destroyed after fire razed a dormitory at the school.
