A packed Abbotsford, B.C., courtroom heard Monday that the alleged killers of a senior couple had previously done work for them through a cleaning company. A packed courtroom at the Abbotsford Law Courts heard the circumstances in which the De Jongs were found in May 2022. Abbotsford police are seen on the morning of May 9, 2022, when the couple's bodies were found. Andre Nadeau said he found Arnold De Jong on a bed, underneath a comforter, with duct tape around his head. Supreme Court in Abbotsford is scheduled to last eight weeks, and Tsui said the Crown expects to call at least 24 witnesses.
