The pleas of Mohammed Dauda alias Ahmed 30, Bismark Opoku alias Opambuor 34, Charles Kwesi alias Yaw Laryee 30 and Kwaku Isaac 51 were not taken. The trial judge, Mr Jonathan Nunoo, after listening to the facts of the case adjourned it to May 22, 2018. The robbers then fled with a cash sum of GHC 900,000. Mr Shaibu Bashiru and Rujanda Sind both Indian nationals of Plat Plume Gold Refinery Company reported the incident to the Bogoso Police and it led to the arrest of the four suspects.
