Mr Darfour made these remarks at the graduation ceremony for 515 Community Protection Police (CPP) at Koforidua. The Regional Minister said youth unemployment had been a major challenge for successive governments over the years and kept compounding. The Eastern Regional YEA Director, Mr Jerry Osei Poku who spoke to the media in an interview, said his outfit partnered state institutions to create jobs for the teeming unemployed youth. Two other recruits, Ms Regina Sarfoa and Gideon Asamoah were awarded for being the best in drill and best in conduct respectively.
