Court names new receiver for Hanjinhome/News/Regions/Court names new receiver for HanjinOLONGAPO CITY, Zambales: The regional trial court (RTC) here has appointed a new receiver to manage the assets of Hanjin shipyard, which is undergoing corporate rehabilitation. Rosario Bernaldo, founder and managing director of Bernaldo Mirador & Director Law Offices, was appointed on Monday by Richard Paradeza, presiding judge of Olongapo RTC Branch 72, as the new Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction-Philippines (HHIC-Phil) receiver. Bernaldo replaced Stefani Saño, who was first appointed by the court in January this year. The court, in choosing Bernaldo for the position, took into consideration the lawyer’s work experience, as well as her answers during an interview. “To the mind of the court, her work experience in rehabilitation cases is vital in this selection,” the judge said.
