The incident occurred at Sridharpur village of Barhoikhali union council around 7:30pm on Wednesday, Additional Superintendent of Police Saiful Islam told bdnews24.com. The victims are fishmonger Md Momin, 50, his wife Lubna Begum, 44, and their daughter 9-year-old 'Sanjida', who studied at a local madrasa. "It appears that they consumed poison together," union council member Ilias Hossain told bdnews24.com. After visiting the scene along with Srinagar Police Station OC SM Alamgir Hossain, ASP Saiful said, "They died by suicide by consuming poison, but the reason is unknown."
