Grocery retail segment comprised of Puregold Price Club Inc. and S&R Membership Shopping Club accounted for 54 percent of the total profits. Its three-quarter revenues grew by 10.3 percent to P109.8 billion while net income climbed 2.9 percent to P4.55 billion. Puregold and S&R opened 17 new stores and one warehouse, respectively, in the first nine months. Cosco has set its capital expenditures at P5.8 billion this year, bulk of which is allocated for the Puregold Group. Cosco Capital shares added 2 centavos or 0.29 percent to end at P6.92 each on Wednesday.
