THE Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday confirmed the ad interim appointment of Gen. Noel Clement as Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff. The CA also approved the appointment of Vice Admiral Allan Ferdinand Cusi as Philippine Military Academy (PMA) superintendent. Rep. Luis Ferrer 4th, chairman of the CA Committee on National Defense, sponsored the approval of the confirmation of Clement and Cusi. Clement, who belongs to PMA Class of 1985, is the 52nd AFP chief of staff. Our only regret perhaps is that he will serve too short a time as AFP chief,” Poe added.
