Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Lakshminarayanan said the government had on Tuesday received information that New Delhi was attempting to make it appear that the appointments were made on the recommendations of Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi. “The Centre had erred in appointing the three members without any recommendation by the Cabinet. Governor has recommended these names to show that there was communication between the Centre and the UT on the appointment,” he said.
