BJP’s Rajasthan election co-incharge Sudhanshu Trivedi on Friday said questions were being raised within the Congress about party president Rahul Gandhi’s calibre to be prime minister. Trivedi said recent Congress entrant and MP candidate Shatrughan Sinha has commented that he sees PM material in leaders other than Gandhi. “Till now the leaders of the grand alliance that Congress was trying to put together did not see Gandhi to be a fit candidate for the post of prime minister. Trivedi said Congress should answer whether the questions raised within the Congress about Gandhi’s capability for the PM post is an indication of distrust and doubts about his calibre. “The focus of the government is Jodhpur… Congress is only trying to save its Vaibhav (Gehot’s son) while the state suffers,” said Trivedi.
