"Modi should clarify which part of the Congress culture he wants to erase and why some very disturbing features of RSS-BJP culture never bothers him," spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said. "Does he want to erase the democratic Nehruvian trait and the inclusive politics of the Congress? Does he want to get rid of the concepts of fraternity, secularism, socialism and independent foreign policy? I would want even the Congress (to) free itself of the Congress culture," Modi told an interviewer on Sunday. But the culture of the Congress that emerged after Independence has started appealing to other political parties.
