"Chief minister N. Chandrababu did not present facts in the Assembly and his submissions were full of untruths. The UPA cabinet had decided that the Centre will fund the project but now this is not the case. Rao said "a clear-cut deal announced by the UPA has turned into a mystery". Is it not true that the UPA government promised entire funding through grant-in-aid but the Modi government decided funding through Nabard after imposing several conditions? Isn't one of the conditions that the grant will be turned into loan if the project is not completed as per schedule?"
