Calcutta: BJP leader Mukul Roy on Thursday demanded a thorough probe into the ownership of the Biswa Bangla brand and logo, a day after chief minister Mamata Banerjee told the Assembly that there was no wrongdoing involved. "There has to be a detailed investigation, by an independent agency, for the truth to come out. The people deserve to know," Roy told a news conference. In his first BJP rally on November 10, Roy had alleged that Mamata's nephew Abhishek owned the rights to the Biswa Bangla brand and logo,. "The chief minister said she was the creator of the Biswa Bangla logo and had voluntarily, unconditionally given it to the state government.
