Titagarh: Train services on the Sealdah-Barrackpore main line were disrupted when a road roller got stuck at a level crossing in Titagarh, North 24-Parganas, a little after noon on Thursday. Around 12.10pm, the road roller stopped moving about 400m from Titagarh station, 20km from Sealdah. By the time a giant crane removed the vehicle, it was past 1pm, an Eastern Railway official said. There is a 40-minute interval in Sealdah-bound trains from Barrackpore after noon. The incident led to further delays and Titagarh, Khardah, Sodepur and Barrackpore stations brimmed with harassed passengers.
