As per the structural audit carried out by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) of 1687 toilets across the city, it was found that 544 toilets are the most dangerous. In the audit report, the maximum number of dangerous toilets were seen in the M East ward with 386 toilets. "Mankhurd and Govandi areas have maximum number of dangerous toilets," said the official. "It is important to take corrective measures after such a structural audit without delays. The civic chief, in his monthly review meeting held last month, had directed to give priority for demolition and reconstruction of the dangerous toilets.
