The Sh52 million recovered from British printer Smith & Ouzman will be used to buy 11 ambulances for hospitals, Treasury CS Henry Rotich has said. Smith & Ouzman chairman Christopher Smith, 72, and sales and marketing director Nicholas Smith, 43, were jailed following a trial at Southwark Crown Court, London. Smith & Ouzman specialises in the printing of security documents such as certificates and ballot papers. In the budget presented on Wednesday, Rotich said the government also expects Sh525 million from Jersey Island.
