Narok West MP Patrick ole Ntutu has welcomed Treasury CS Henry Rotich’s promise to disburse Sh30 billion to help marginalised communities. But the Narok West lawmaker is optimistic they will agree on a formula. However, it is not clear how the funds will be distributed as each marginalised area has unique problems. The Maasai community really feel that it will be a boost to the livelihood of our people because we have remained marginalised for a very long time,” Ntutu told the Star. In his presentation of the Budget in Parliament on Wednesday, Rotich said the money will be for 14 counties.
