Chelsea handed Tammy Abraham injury boost ahead of crunch Tottenham clash

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham could be set to return to Frank Lampard’s starting lineup in time for tomorrow’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur. Abraham initially suffered his ankle injury last month against Arsenal, although he opted to play through the pain and get to the break. However, the forward was not deemed match fit for Monday’s clash against the Red Devils. The London side suffered a huge setback in their pursuit of finishing in a Champions League place at the end of the season, as they lost 2-0 to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. Although they will qualify for the Champions League as it stands, Chelsea sit just one point ahead of fifth place Tottenham Hotspur, and just three points above eighth place.
