Chelsea have told a section of supporters to stay home for the Blues' 2020-21 Premier League kick-off on Saturday, with their seats 'not safe to use'. The west Londoners host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge for the start of their title challenge, fresh off their Super Cup triumph in Belfast this week. 'Everyone at the club is very upset that we weren’t able to achieve this and recognise that we should have done better.' Fans had been warned a day before the announcement, explaining to fans that 12,000 seats were being replaced at the ground. The Blues also confirmed that works on the Shed Upper and Lower Stands have been completed.
