Invercargill Mayor Sir Tim Shadbolt welcomes news of an investigation into how his emails are accessed. Invercargill City Council chief executive Clare Hadley says she should not have shared the contents of a mayoral email. “Although these arrangements were agreed, I should not have shared the contents of an email the Mayor issued to media last week. Sir Tim Shadbolt welcomed an investigation stressing that he wanted staff to stop looking at his emails. It followed contents of an email sent by Shadbolt being raised by chief executive Clare Hadley at the chair’s meeting last week.
