Student Lachlan Hutchison of Greytown is enjoying the new taster course at Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre in rural Carterton. Now those plans are back on track with the re-opening of one of New Zealand’s pre-eminent agricultural training institutions. The 20-year-old Greytown student’s plans were knocked off course in late 2018 when Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre in Carterton collapsed under a mountain of debt.
