The Telegraph had reported about the two versions on May 7. A senior IISER official had said last week that "there has been only one report prepared by the institute", and had declined to comment on the existence of two reports, now confirmed by the government official. This report says a scrutiny of his medicalrecords suggests that he did not have any serious chronic ailments. Sections of the IISER faculty said the reports appeared intended at misleading the government on psychological counselling services for students on the campus. Both reports say the institute "receives the service of a professional psychiatrist twice a week, well advertised (on) the institute website, and well-utilised in the past few months".
