"Motor plants are closed in China and that also impacts production of vehicles that are assembled elsewhere." Car maker Hyundai has already said component shortages have forced it to halt production. "Local distributors do try to carry enough stock for several months, so it is those shipments that were due to arrive now that will have the impact down the line."
