There has been a crash on SH5 north of Napier. One person has died after a car crash on State Highway 5 north of Napier. A police spokeswoman said police, Fire and Emergency New Zealand and St John Ambulance respondedto the crash, on SH5, on Friday night. ONE DIES IN GISBORNE CRASHMeanwhile, police confirmed a person had died in a separate crash, which occurred about 10.15pm Thursday in the Gisborne district. The person died after a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 35 at Whangara, north of Gisborne.
