CONTRIBUTED PHOTOCAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The military has administered Covid-19 vaccines on members of the New People's Army (NPA) who had been captured or had voluntarily surrendered to authorities. Garello also said one of the slain rebels was also positive for Covid-19, prompting the military to immediately bury the combatant's remains in coordination with the local government unit. Garello added the findings prompted the military to conduct swab testing on the 10 captured rebels. He said the eight rebels who were found positive for Covid-19 were immediately detained at an isolation center under tight security by the military.
